You Are Not the Problem, It’s Time To Hold Steady Part 1
Preface to the Message from the Heart of Love
Dearest Larissa,
I speak to many people over the course of a month and in doing this I’m able to notice larger patterns. These patterns often illuminate my own life because it’s apparent it’s not just me; it appears to be a larger occurrence. In asking for clarity, I was asked to create this preface that offers understanding from my own experience. The preface will be followed next week by an inspired Message from the Heart of Love that will delve further.
More than we understand, we are like the murmuration of starlings in the photo (yes, that’s what they’re called.) A subtle event triggers us and we all swoop into the air in unified reaction. We have a sense of threat, we feel skittish. We light nervously on our own wobbly little branch until another mysterious startle moves us to flight again.
Unlike the starlings, our minds are frantic to know what triggered the scary or despairing thought. “Have I lost spiritual ground?” we ask. “What’s wrong with me?” we wonder. This fretting indicates a failure to understand we are not just an individual, we are also one. In our oneness, great shudders move though our linked selves.
A conflict begins somewhere in the world, close or near, and ripples through us all, unaware. Many things spark fears in our group sense of safety. For instance, an economic spasm might spread through us in a subtle flash, after which we experience a sense of doom or a feeling that something bad is about to happen. Such responses often happen worldwide, caused by a series of events we’re not able to clearly see.
Unlike the starling, we are less aware of our group formation, our shared responses. Therefore we try to solve a problem that does not generate from us necessarily. It generates within our group response, our connection to one another and to all life. We are not separate from the web of life, we know this, but we may not understand the implications of it.
This connected web of life can be like a group “telegraph” transmitting impulses, responses, events and feelings in a subtle language beyond words through our super-conscious mind fields. The group reacts as a whole to this. We are like mini-reactors to this information. In fact, we are receivers, responders, transformers and transmitters
It’s crucial we understand each of these and act consciously in each role. Let’s say you pick up a strong constricting impulse in the system that affects world finance. Do you personalize all you receive? Is your main response self-judgment? Do you pause to transform the energy before you transmit?
These disturbances come through highly subtle but powerful undercurrents of mind, body, and emotion at large in the world. I’ve seen similar undercurrents of worry in many, many people over the course of the last months and observe that it’s very draining to respond only at personal levels. Most of us have interrupted sleeping patterns, memory challenges, periods of inexplicable inner tension. Seeing such a noticeable and broad pattern, I turned my heart and mind to seeking wisdom regarding it.
The first wisdom I received was to begin by noticing my own responses and solutions because I am not deaf to the group “telegraph.” Far from it. I am more than ever aware of the group. This is true of everyone as the blending of Spirit progresses in us. We do not become more and more “above it all.” We become more and more part of it all, more aware of it all.
In my experience, what’s needed is the ability to distinguish between reactions. There are thoughts and responses that are more individually “me,” and there are those generated within the group I Am, which is my shared humanity. To distinguish between these, I must first be willing to admit to the circular nature of unproductive thoughts in my mind. That’s a signal I’m engaging unsuccessfully on a rather personal level.
Perhaps I’m saying, “I’m so much more fatigued than usual, I haven’t been doing this or that right, I’ve got to get better about my diet and exercise.” Now this may be somewhat true, though not the most correct and helpful interpretation. There are myriad less discernible things that can affect our sense of well-being and energy; humidity and heat, barometric pressure, high solar activity, pollens and free floating toxins, long-ranging scalar waves from earthquakes far from us, the unease of those around us, and on and on.
The more appropriate interpretation might be something like, “Unknown stresses from many quarters are placing a burden on me, it’s time to take care of myself first and foremost, with gentleness and ease, and with new attention.” This feels very different from, “Oh no, something’s wrong, and it’s my fault…”
When I’m feeling a sudden onslaught of personal disturbance, I lie down immediately, locate it in my body, and ask to see/feel/know the source of it. I generally speak aloud softly, saying for instance, “Beloved, I seem to feel a sudden fatigue and a sense of gloom.” Name your feeling, it might be despair, discouragement, hopelessness, or fear for your safety, etc. – do not hesitate to admit the so called negative feelings, these feelings are natural to your larger experience of your humanity.
Then I continue by saying, “If there is something to release personally, I do so now. Let’s clear and transmute this in me and in the world at large. If there is personal lesson or opportunity for me specifically, let me see and deal with it simply. If not, then I pause in this moment to rest and breathe to protect and restore my vitality. Thank you beloved life, for the instant relief always available within me.“
Afterward, I leave it alone, trusting that resolution will continue at clearer and deeper levels of myself as I go back into my day. I always feel greatly revived. I do this as often as I need, without concern. I’m just happy such a simple thing relieves me. That’s what works for me and I know you have your own methods of dealing with what we’ve explored today, share these with one another.
My hope is that my thoughts have been useful. I am urged to say that there are many others you know who would benefit from this particular message. I ask you to pause a moment to see who comes to mind, then take the time to forward this email to them. I look forward to sharing the inspired Heart of Love message with you next week…see you then!
I’m sending you bushels of love,
XO Ma HuLiLi
