I like things that save me time.  Especially when it comes to deciding what to watch or listen to, given the deluge of choices we are bombarded with.  I especially like discovering  programs or people who vet things, weeding out the nonsense and highlighting the things worth paying attention to.

A number of years ago my friend Sandie Sedgbeer had just that thought about books.  After years of her very successful (on-going) show What is Going Om, interviewing hundreds of popular authors and thought-leaders, she’d read thousands of books.  It was clear to her that some of them were gems but a lot of them were not worth the time.

This led to her decision to start  The No B.S. Spiritual Book Club.  She still interviews authors and other fascinating people but from an unusual perspective.  They discuss the top ten spiritual books that have most impacted their lives.  But what she really does for us on this program is weed out all the book B.S. so we don’t waste our time.  I love that!

I also love the unique view I gain of the guest when listening to them go through their reading lists, relating the growth they’ve experienced.  Sandie is a great host and interviewer.  I mentioned her to you a few years ago but thought it time to high-light this program again because I get so much from it.  Below are a few programs I’ve enjoyed recently.

I really loved her show yesterday with Jill Bolte Taylor, “Stroke of Insight,” and enjoyed, “The No BS Spiritual Book Club meets Tamala Floyd,”  which is about cultivating joyful and meaningful relationships.

And if you haven’t seen Sandie’s What’s going Om interview with Pam Gregory in which they discuss 2025, it’s a must see.  It’s called 2025 Crossing the Rubicon – What it Means to Be Human.

In the same place, you’ll also find other conversations with Pam Gregory that are amazing and ground-breaking.  These are part of her new bi-monthly series Conversations Beyond the Cutting Edge that push the boundaries of how we’ve seen things to date, spiritually speaking.  For instance, look for Reshaping Reality – Birthing a New Species.

One program link is below but you’ll find the above programs – and lots of others – on her You Tube channel:  @SandieSedgbeer

Look in the Live section of her tabs.

I get her free monthly newsletter which is simple and no B.S. too.  That way I can glance at what’s coming and know if I’m interested.  You can sign up here.

This is a channel worth hitting the subscribe button for and selecting to receive all notices.  When I’m in the mood for uplighting, I always find something wonderfully watchable there.  I usually listen on my phone when cleaning… it’s a major contributor my house sparkle!

Enjoy!
Love, Mayet
