I find it interesting each year to make my “Dear Santa” list; there’s much gained in seeing what I’m wishing for. I don’t mean my more selfless wishes, like world peace. I’m speaking of my nitty gritty personal wish list. This year, it’s like the song says, “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth.” That’s almost too true for me! LOL.

For 2015, I’m not really wishing for the usual Christmas fare, it’s all about health and nurture – practical things and small daily pleasures like Macha tea or a nice massage. That’s what really speaks to me right now.

As I’ve mentioned before, I think what’s timely is self-nurture and gentle care thru the gifts of good nutrition, simple exercise, self-kindness and support. How about giving ourselves a permanent break from being over-rigorous, self-critical and analytical? Great gift idea there!

Time to pop a wheelie, dance a jig, giggle under the bed covers while reading with the flashlight. Go feral and let your better instincts run rampant. Ramp up for rest. Cuddle a kitten. Give yourself a hug, then share it with someone else. Go right ahead and love yourself!
