The Receptacle of Blessing Pt 4 of 4 Personal Ceremony and Anointing – The Bodhisattva Heart

Now that we’ve completed the Receptacle of Blessings teachings, here are the promised suggestions for your ceremony.

Your Own Bodhisattva Heart Ceremony

Dearest one,

We find ourselves together in this moment at the end of a series of teachings both timely and profound. This has been a communication of living words, one that carries frequency in profoundly impactful ways. We have been with each who has joined us here, with each whose heart has lifted in recognition and remembrance.

Such a teaching, in former times, would be recognized for its potential to greatly increase the activations and frequencies you carry. When there was such an occurrence – whether for a group or an individual – it was understood that ceremony was appropriate and within this, sometimes, that an anointing was called for.

We know from conversing with our beloved friend (me, Mayet 😊) that being anointed by another is sometimes looked upon askance in your day. We are however also aware that there are still original cultures among you that do understand and practice this important means of blessing and acknowledgment in ceremony (Hawaiian kahunas, for instance, still do this in certain ceremonial moments. ~M)

The use of sacred ashes upon the forehead is still used in some western and eastern ceremonies. This is an act of anointing, though the real understanding of anointing is not clearly held in many such cases. So yes, we are aware that the association carries old connotations and did become overly controlled and contrived, losing much of their purpose and benefit. But this does not mean that the proper perspective and use cannot hold great merit.

What is anointing and why has it had such long practice in both early and more modern spiritual ceremonies? We wish to give only a brief understanding of this here, enough that you may create your own blessed moment.

At its basis, anointing cleanses, releasing what no longer serves; it affirms what one is agreeing to step up to; it opens the high head chakra to receive a fullness of light for the moment and beyond.

It also unites the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of yourself to further wholeness and connection in unity with your quantum aspects. As well, it offers blessings, sealing or integrating them most fully.

It is more profound in its effect than you might realize. This is greater when the one facilitating the anointing carries the full cadre of anointing energies and light in their field, and this is what was required as part of anointing in earlier times in a High Priest or Priestess. It is then most life-changing and often includes an initiation. Some reading this (as well as our beloved friend here) do carry this higher frequency of anointing within their light field.

But even without such a facilitator we wish you to know that your own ceremonial act of anointing caries profound energy and effect. And if one is sincere, open and willing, coming forth without fear, the outcome will be a great enhancement and change for you.

There are many purposes or types of anointing and many ways anointing can be carried out but it is common to use an anointing oil or one of the four elements. A branch or leaf can be used to “brush” the energy of the body as prayers are said, for instance.

Sacred oil can be placed on chakra points, or palms, feet, crown etc, at the conclusion. Or one might choose to place a smudge of ashes from a sacred fire on the third eye or a dab of earth or dust. The Hawaiians often use a large leaf of palm, dipping it in water to sprinkle the recipients. A feather can be used the same way.

Much could be said, but for today this is more than enough for your purpose. For your own ceremony we might suggest the following components:

• Have one or more feathers on hand to symbolize the Feather Blessings as well as the wings upon which your feather blessings reach you. Place them in a small vessel or receptacle if you like, to symbolize yourself.
• If you like, you could place a heart rock with them or heart-shaped crystal symbolizing the heart as the specific receptacle of blessing within you.
• Select your anointing medium, be it oil, earth, ash (for fire), feather or branch (for air), blessed or fresh (living) water, etc.
• Prepare your personal statement to affirm that you are a receptacle of blessing, receiving all the feather blessings meant for humanity and overflowing with them through the higher geometry of the Bodhisattva Heart (or Sacred Heart if you prefer.)
• Prepare yourself and your chosen space for ceremony as you wish. This can be as simple as lighting a candle and saying a prayer or as playful or elaborate as you wish. This is for you, make your heart delight.
• Light a candle to begin. Contemplate your blessings and give thanks to the mother/father source of all blessings etc. Speak from your heart, saying what you wish. Affirm your willingness and intention, read your statement and add any prayers you wish. Conclude your prayers by calling forth all the blessings meant for humanity and all life, name specific individuals in need if you would like.
• End by anointing yourself in the way you have prepared to do.

Following your anointing, conclude by stating:

* I walk forth today aware of the cloak of radiance prepared by Source and placed upon my shoulders, wearing it in humble thanksgiving for all the Feather Blessings I continually receive and overflow with in my being. Repeat a closing three times, using for instance Hosanna Hosanna Hosanna or Amen and Amen and Amen, or Kadoish Kadoish Kadoish, Adonai Sebaoth. (I use the Hawaiian: Amama ua noa, repeated assertively 3 times. It means literally “The prayer is set free” – is released, or goes forth. It asserts that the intention is fulfilled and sent forth. ~M)

* Leave your candle, feather, receptacle, heart rock etc, and your statement on your altar or mesa for 7 days or more if you wish.
