I’m on Double Digits with Adironnda and Company, Marilyn Harper and Joeaux Robey.  May 5, 2022 (5/5/22) 6p Pacific, 8p Central, 9p Eastern. You can sign-up here.   To learn more, read this recent blog that tells about the experience I had recording the Double Digits program.  It also includes a lovely Heart of Message that came for that day.

Actually, I think I know what to call you but you might be tempted to call me what’s-her-name, haha.  Or to say, “*#@!?  I’m so confused about her name!”

I don’t blame you.  And doing sessions recently, it became apparent it’s time to clarify.  So – What should you call me?

I changed my name in 2018 and I changed it legally. That means I no longer answer to any version of my former name at all, as no such person exists legally.  So you can rule that out.  That part is simple to clarify.

Also, I’ve only had one name since then: Mayet MaHulili Leilani.  First name, middle name, last name.  Just like most of you.  But after that is where it got confused.

For a while, I tried using my middle name MaHulili, for various reasons.  That went on my blog banner, as you see above – if you get the private mailing instead of the website mailing from me – and on my website URL.  But because that was so unusual, it led to much stumbling and a couple of nicknames.  Soon I had a lot of people calling me different things.  It didn’t help me sink into my new name.  Eventually even I felt confused! 😳

Then I wrote my book (We Are Light!) and had to decide on my author name.  In the long months that I wrote and wrote I had much time to ponder my name.  One day it all came clear.  I wanted to use my first and last name.  Like most people.  Duh.

We got the name changed on my website in most places, but the private email banner is more complicated on my article mailing.  So if you signed up for my blog on my website, the banner is right, but if you get my article through my weekly private email list, it isn’t.  It says MaHulili, my middle name.

I imagine that’s confusing for you, but I’m slowly getting there.  We’ll get that other banner changed soon hopefully but in the meantime, I hope this helps us all to quit being confused.

I bet you’re glad to know what to call me at last rather than wonder how to address me if you want to send me your thoughts about a blog.  A lot of you do that and I love it, so I don’t want you to feel confused any longer.

Now we know.  Mayet Leilani.First and last name. My middle name is on my passport and stuff, where it belongs. It’s on a few other things like my Pay Pal email and my URL because that’s was I used early on.  That can’t be helped, but now at least you understand.  So let me start over, “Hi, my name is Mayet, glad to meet you.”

Smiling, and imagining you might be too,
~  X💜Mayet Leilani
