Dear Play Pal,  

We’ve had some longer reads here lately.  Time for a change of pace – a short but fun message.  One of the funny things I do around my house is make little impromptu altars all over the place.  This one happened when my flowering anthurium plant fell over and one of the stems broke.  These flowers last a loooooong time, both live and cut.  So I popped in a pretty shot glass someone gave me, added a couple other items and created a contemplative mini-altar tableaux.  It’s cute, isn’t it?  When I pass by it makes me smile and a smile is such a great meditation.

When I create these little altars I often ask Spirit for a message to put beside it to read from time to time.  Here’s the message I got for this teeny altar moment. (more…)

Dear One,

During the writing of my book, I began to have experiences of both the Great Mother – a cosmic energy we sometimes call the Divine Feminine – and the Mother Mary, an extraordinary and loving archetypal Presence and Life who exists as an avatar of consummate Love and service to humanity.

Mother Mary often placed her hands upon mine, infusing the words with wisdom and energy well beyond my own abilities as a writer, mystic and shaman. These were spontaneous experiences of such beauty I was often overcome.  

Sometimes she came in my dreams, other times she came in vision.  Usually she simply held me in a field of loving regard.  Often these were experiences that filled my being with understanding and emotion beyond language.  On occasion she transmitted words of encouragement and wisdom.   (more…)

Greetings of Love and encouragement. Settling and reverberations continue throughout much of this period of time. Issues of failure and fulfillment cause unease and discouragement for many. It becomes easy to feel, “What is the use? Things are too hard, nothing will change.”

Dark thoughts abound within the culture as dissension and challenge seem to rule the day. The influx of light seems at odds with the energy of this as many conflicting possibilities collide, especially that of old and new ways of being and thinking. This is within your own being as well.

To avoid the miasma of discouragement that is present in the world, notice and read the signs that show up in your life. You will see they point to what is needed to bring balance within the conflicting range of potential to make for the highest and best probability of outcome for you and your world. (more…)
