Happy New Year!

The past couple of years I’ve done something different. I’ve had so much fun with it I think it’s a good tradition to do with you.

2021Rather than thinking about either New Year Resolutions to break all too soon, or hoping to a get a glimpse of what someone thinks of the future, hoping it happens, let’s each first do our own personal predictions for our coming year.

To get into the spirit of it, I’ll share mine from last year. You might remember I suggested last year that we each create three fun predictions for ourselves and tape them on the fridge as daily reminders and then see what they look like at the end of the year.

What I Predicted For This Year

Here’s what mine were and how they turned out:

  1. Settle down somewhere perfect in my own little place.
  2. An unexpected financial boon, a small nest egg.
  3. Time to write a book.

How Did I Come Up With Those?

I didn’t just sort for a few random desires. I wanted to know what I intended for myself in that place of deeper or Soul Longings. So I spent some time playing with the questions, a few days. Then I sat down to meditate on it one day, pen and paper in hand. I asked my Higher Self for words, feelings or images that indicated what my Soul intended for my life for 2020.

First I saw a little cottage 🏡 in a neighborhood. It felt like mine and the feeling was settled, so I wrote that down for my first one.soul predications

Next I saw a little money bag, like that moneybag emoji 💰. I only saw one moneybag, not a bunch of them so I felt it was a small but still very nice financial opportunity. I wrote that next.

Lastly I saw a book 📖 with a pen ✍️ beside it. I’d felt there was a book in me for some time and realized my life intended me to finish that book now. I wrote that on the list.

I’d suggested three but as I ended my meditation I saw an image of myself speaking to a few hundred people. So I added a fourth to my list:
4) Present to large groups. 🎙

I taped them on my refrigerator and when the first two happened rather quickly, my refrigerator – and my list on it – moved with me to my new place! After 12 years, I was settled in my new place, my WalkAbout suddenly ended. How about the other three of predictions?

How Did My Predictions Turn Out?

1) My own place – I had just circled back to Oklahoma City after over a year in Hawaii and 12 years on the road and it was item one on my predictions that unfolded first, as I mentioned. That happened unexpectedly and quickly, as you already know from previous blogs! In January when the opportunity for this place arrived I was surprised it was in Oklahoma City and I was surprised it was so soon. I’d thought maybe New Mexico by mid-year.

However, with COVID on our radar, I was sOoo very happy not to be on the road on Walkabout. My life intended that for me so much better than I had, given my limited knowledge at the time.

2) An unexpected little moneybag – Within a week or so of making that prediction, the friend I was caring for in Hawaii got a large financial gift and she gave me four thousand dollars as a thank you for taking the year off to help her.

Since I’d traveled 12 years with never more than a couple hundred dollars surplus, that was a really large nest egg for me. It helped pay for my move within the city and then, when COVID began to impact all of our finances, I was so grateful for that little moneybag my life knew would be much needed for rent and so forth.

3) Write a book – Obviously, 2020 was a year with more time and many fewer distractions than usual. So I’m on the last chapters of that book!

4) Present to large groups – In the spring of the year, within weeks of one another, I had invites to address three events for Kryon/Lee Carrol and one for Sandie Sedgebeer. Plus another invite from Stewart Pearce that turned into three additional ones. I didn’t seek any of these out, they came unexpectedly and I was honored to share the platforms of these popular spiritual presenters and it gave me a chance to ponder whether I wanted to begin to do more of this again.

How it Worked

By sourcing each from within my life’s highest intentions for me, these personal predictions showed me what I most longed for at the Soul level – and what would best serve my life.

By becoming aware of them, writing them down in trust and good faith, and noticing, thinking about and feeling them with a smile everyday when reminded by my refrigerator note, I was able to recognize them when they unfolded and step into them.

Let’s all ask our own Higher Selves for our predictions for this year, writing the impressions down in a spirit of playful trust. Then let’s post them on the refrigerator and notice and smile at them daily. And be ready to recognize and step into them as they unfold in 2021. Sound like fun?

Anticipating many good things in 2021 for us all,

MaHuLiLi
