This morning a friend shared this quote she especially loved.
“A soul that walks in love neither tires others nor grows tired.”
~ St John at the Cross
I also found this a beautiful quote for pondering. Then later that day, I came across the following from my own writings on love. I found the two quotes paired nicely together as a contemplative moment of meditation. And they seemed the perfect thing to share today.
The key to walking in Love isn’t effort and trying.
The key is becoming comfortable with the unresolved longing for it.
The longing activates the unfolding.
Rather than trying to satisfy the longing
we can just let the longing be there,
opening us into the greater and greater Love
we already are.
Together they make a nice bite-sized treat for us today, don’t you agree?
