Dearest Reader,

I’ve been redoing my website a bit, adding some videos I’ve done in the last two years. Two were posted last week. The first is one of three videos of a trio of wonderful events I did with Lee Carroll/Kryon last summer. This one is information that spirit was giving me about 3 perspectives that work together beautifully to help get us through things like… well… life.

The second is the first of three in a series of videos that Stewart Pearce and I did after I was on his show Deep Dialogues. We hit it off so swimmingly that we got together to chat further and just pressed record each time. They are great conversations; this one being about Mystical Relationships.

They’re on my Mayet Leilani page on You Tube but you can find them on my website, www.mayetleilani.com . I’ll be adding the other videos weekly and probably on an on-going basis, so for those of you who’d like to be notified when I post another, you can open them in You Tube (from my website) and subscribe and click the bell for notifications.

This is the last week of September sharing from my book. It’s been so fun to interact with those of you who’ve been reading it. One reader liked it so much they ordered a dozen to share with friends and the local new age bookstore. More than one of you have shared mystical experiences you’ve had while reading it and many of you have shared insights that you’ve had while reading.

One reader mentioned they had a hunch the book was a transmission and I wrote back that it’s true that I was instructed in special ways while writing, to make this possible. In fact, I was told the book would even reach those who didn’t read it! So that lets you off the hook if you aren’t much of a reader, lol.

I was also told that the book is a spiritual tool that could, for instance, be placed on one’s altar and radiate light into the home even if never read. It’s a short book as it is, but that makes it, in yet another sense, a zero-read book, haha.

So I thank all of you for your wonderful words, feedback, thoughts and ideas. As I’ve mentioned before, writing is a solitary art and hearing from you is therefore always a blessing and a treasure to me.

Here are a few paragraphs from the final chapter of the book that comes at the end of my own story of coming home to the Light of my being. I think you’ll enjoy how this excerpt takes you right into your own story. Read and feel the Love and Light that surrounds us all.

It wasn’t unusual for me to wonder if enlightenment was really possible or if there was actually a deep abiding peace to be held within a harried daily life. Countless people wonder about these things. The thing that perhaps set my experience apart was my decision to find out once and for all. It was unusual that I decided the matter could be resolved.

I’ve come to realize it was also uncommon to take the risk to find out, rather than return to the safe harbor of hope and belief restored. That’s the real leap I took, my decision to find out for sure. I risked failure, perhaps creating a greater spiritual crisis for myself if faced with the loss of my cherished beliefs. So often we prefer to safely believe something rather than risk finding out it’s either not true or that it’s “never going to be possible for me.”

That was a unique moment of decision for me. Stress and difficulty placed me at a precipice, creating an urgent desire to know once and for all. This was coupled with the feeling I had nothing to lose, so I went for it.

That was my moment. However it’s not necessary to have your back to the wall to decide to “go for it.” Any time, including right now, is a good one to make that decision.
You too may want to stop believing and start knowing for yourself. You might wish to approach the precipice and consciously leap into your own self-realization. It is so worth the risk!

Thinking back I’ve realized something important, something I think you’ll be very glad to know. Most people I met on WalkAbout wistfully expressed their own wish to go on WalkAbout. Or they commented on how my personal crisis launched things for me. It seemed they felt that without those, they could never garner the rewards I was receiving. However, neither the crisis nor the unhooking were the true keys. But if those aren’t key, what is?

In retrospect, it is clear to me there was a seminal moment in The Valley. It is one that can be created by anyone wishing to craft their own experience of leaping. I’m referring to the altered experience I shared with you, the one at the fire when the carousel spun out of control. What happened then?

I experienced the full, undiluted strength of my longing to know the truth for myself, beyond doubt. I felt my intense longing for Light and greater peace. It was so strong it was undeniable. It had been bound by the fear it wasn’t possible, by thoughts of unworthiness, and by cultural and spiritual ideas that were limiting. But in that experience my Soul longing was unleashed fully.

Your First Step

This means the first step for me was setting my truest longing free, fully allowing myself to admit and feel what I so deeply and utterly wanted, to let it take it’s place front and center, without editing.

That would be the first step for you too, for anyone, I think. It all begins with a question: Am I willing to allow my deepest, Soul-driven longing for spiritual fulfillment to surface fully so I can step up to it? In that question, the risk will be felt.

Only when we allow that longing to fill us, can we resist focusing only on the endless busyness, the countless errands, the daily small dramas. Feeling my real longing, intensely, caused me to understand, “This is no idle exercise, this is my life!”

This led to the determination I shared with you, of “now or never.” It is the full strength of our spiritual longing that will compel us. It will call to us. It will guide us. It will always bring us back to what we care about more than all else, always reminding us: this is why we came. We came to fully access the Light in us and claim its many rewards. Are you ready to let that longing roar up in you with the full power of your Soul?

You may think you have allowed that longing, but I suggest that for most people it has become like familiar wallpaper. We chose the pattern because we really liked it but once on the wall it soon recedes in our minds, seldom seen fully again.

For many, the longing for spiritual fulfillment is like that – desired, chosen even, but muted by fears, beliefs and distractions. In this way it is likely that life will slip by with out realizing what could, in fact, actually have been attained.

Letting that longing overtake you to the point that it becomes your greatest strength, always within view – that is a seminal matter. I prepared the questions in the section that follows to assist you in exploring your next step wherever you are on your own journey of actualizing the truth of who you really are.
