Daily Practice
A daily practice is an important part of remaining balanced and resilient in the world, of tending one’s light in order that it grow in radiance for our lives and world. There are two components of my own daily practice that remain constant while other aspects of it change over time.
One of those components is my DayBreak Song. The other is a morning prayer. Each morning I take 5-6 minutes for these and though they are brief and simple, I can’t overstate the benefit they bring to my day, without fail.
I invite you to use them, to join me and a large number of people around the world who integrate these into their own practice. It is an informal group, there is no sign up or FaceBook page for it. Just people who lift their own voices in song and prayers together, virtually each day.
The time frame is between 7-9am, your time zone. There is a beautiful sense of like minds and hearts that can be felt in communion and community at that time.

I have performed the Daybreak Song around the world at a variety of events, from business meetings to tribal gatherings and in many countries around the world. Whatever the setting or culture, the song reaches people with its simple melody and devotional lyrics.
This song is designed to strike a chord at the soul level and provide a sustained sense of harmony in your being. I understood, when it came to me in meditation one morning in the mid 1980’s, that it establishes a coherence in one’s body and life that lasts about twenty four hours. I also understood then that if I were to sing the song each morning, it would bless and change my life, it has and continues to do so.
My hope is that it will enrich yours as well.
