Dear Beloved River,

My manuscript is done as well as all the bits and pieces that go with it like the Introduction and Afterword, Dedication, etc. etc. I sent it all off for layout and cover work. I am happy dancing. Even though it’s not available to you yet, I just wanted to celebrate a moment with you. 💥💃 🎈

One of the things that happens when writing a book, is you write more material than you need; there are bits or sections that don’t make the cut. Today’s blog is a piece that didn’t make the book, but I think we’ll enjoy it together here.

Reaching the Promised Land

It is as though we have dreamed of a Promised Land, a Heaven or Nirvana just beyond reach on the opposite shore of a powerful river. We have thought we needed to cross that vast river to access the wonders of the Promised Land. Therefore, we’ve focused on the far shore, making many attempts to reach that mysterious, more enlightened place, falling short of the goal each time.

Then, to our surprise we realize we are that very River. We are the River that flows through countless extraordinary lands touching all the shores of unlimited promise and potential, rising always into physical form from the River’s source of life, and returning always to that same Great Ocean of Being.

Going forward as the River, is to become the flow of life in all its vastness. We are flowing sometimes languidly, other times in turbulent rapids, but always flowing and changing, a River creating its own wonderful path, a meandering way that is uniquely, for each, our own. (more…)

This blog is about the Cardinal Call we are hearing now, and what it is saying to us. As I say later on, one of the things I’m hearing/feeling is the dearest, sweetest urging of Love itself to care for one another.

Just as I was readying this article for mailing I received a note from my friend, Stewart Pearce. He told me of his agent and dear friend, Susan Mears, who recently traveled out the country to Jordan. While there she collapsed, suffering severe hemorrhaging, and was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer requiring immediate treatment.

She is unable to return home because of the difficulties of air travel and the severe covid quarantine restrictions that would delay treatment needed immediately. You can imagine being marooned in the Middle East, not covered by home health insurance, and experiencing such a frightening personal crisis. She is a brave and extraordinary woman in need of our love and support.

So many of you are profound energy healers and I ask that you might look at the two links here, sending loving energy from your Higher Self to hers. This link is Susan in an interview with Stewart, about a year ago. It will help you connect with her energy for healing.

Some of you will also be able to donate here, to help with the costs of her treatment. Even if you are unable to donate, you might want to read her own brief account on this page with your strong intention that all support needed for her recovery find her with ease. These things do make a difference, more than we fully know.

The timing of Stewart’s email regarding Susan’s unusual circumstances and serious difficulties seemed very serendipitous with the following shamanic dream. Dear Dancing With Balance,

The Yin Yang symbol represents balance, as most of us know. And it’s tempting to say “we get it, we’ve known that for a long time, no need to go on about it.” But let’s go further, let’s think about it just a little more. We’ll be glad we did.

Yin Yang. That’s God, in a nutshell. God as a dance of exquisite balance, in the balancing and blending of the opposites. Black and white, summer and winter, plus and minus. God in the movement of masculine and feminine, god and goddess balanced.

Balance is of the utmost importance if you are interested in the higher levels of spiritual advancement. To reach these, self-mastery is paramount. You don’t get that without balance. It is key.

On the path that this symbol represents, you use both your mind and heart to learn about the responses that are male and those that are female, those that are dark and those that are light, those that are elevated and those that are not, and so forth.
