Dear Judge and Jury,
The accused stands on trial, the prosecutor hurls accusations, questions, and ridicule. Witnesses speak in condemnation against the accused. Few, if any come forward in defense. Even the defense attorney seems defeated. The jury appears openly disapproving, sure to deliver a guilty verdict. The judge looks stern and not at all inclined toward clemency.
Ever wonder about the immense popularity of courtroom dramas? We have a huge appetite for watching the guilty be convicted with certainty and skill, the innocent found innocent after all. Why? Worthiness vs. Unworthiness – Escaping the Loop of Duality

Worthiness has two facets or sides of the coin – feeling worthy and feeling unworthy. As do all things in duality. Feelings of worthiness can be general (an overall feeling of being unworthy) or they can be specific to certain areas – for instance, regarding finances, love and other matters.
Worthiness also has two pathways for it’s energy: outgoing and incoming. You might feel worthy to receive but not certain about what you have to offer to others. Or conversely you might feel unworthy about receiving but not about what you have to offer others.
Instead, you might feel confident in neither, struggling with them both. Or you might feel confident of both and have no issues in your life about worthiness. These are ways of experiencing the very human matter of worthiness. Where are you regarding worthiness? (more…)
Direct Communication and Swift Action
Sometimes direct communication and swift action are what is called for. Many people – and often those who are spiritually inclined – have trouble with this. There can be uncertainty about turning the other cheek or when to be kind instead of direct. It can be hard to know when to speak up and when to simply speak out instead.
There can be confusion about when to pause, meditate, allow, or wait. For nearly everyone, this can be confusing. Avoiding the pitfalls of over-hesitation, procrastination and indirect communication is a topic that deserves attention.
It’s especially timely right now as we head into an astrological phase that’s prime for action. August through October and even into November are good months for planning, implementing, putting ideas and projects and ourselves forward. There’s lots of support for beginning, following through on and completing things. It’s a great time to complete unfinished or procrastinated tasks. And it’s the right time to act as things that come up rather than allowing matters to drift.
It’s time to learn to handle both inner and outer processes directly and more immediately. This is especially true where there is a block, or a troublesome matter. Neither procrastination nor perfectionism are your ally right now. Instead default to direct communication and swift action. There is tremendous power in combining direct, thoughtful communication with more immediate action. (more…)
