Transmutation and the Three T’s

October 17, 2024

Article highlights:

  • Your transmutation
  • Gaia and the 5555

Last week I briefly touched on transition, mentioning the 3 T’s: Transition, Transformation and Transmutation, 5, 55, and 555.

Today I decided to supplement our musing process about those by giving their brief definitions, adding a short thought about them.

Transition: a change or shift from one state, subject, place, etc. to another.

This is change, better understood.  It’s a better word, isn’t it? It sits in us more positively, more peacefully and hopefully.  And more accurately, I think.

Transformation: an act, process, or instance of transforming or being transformed, the operation of changing (as by rotation or mapping) one configuration or expression into another.

Within the meaning and effect of this word, the process becomes grounded.  And I love that “rotation,” “mapping” and “configuration” are used in its definition because in my experience, transformation activates the geometry of formation and formulation.  Key in the process of progression (another word for change.)

Transmutation: the conversion of one element or nuclide into another, either naturally or artificially.

With transmutation, the alchemy of progression really begins.  Can you feel that?

As spiritual journeyers, we are meant to enter into transition (change) using the geometry and alchemy of light and the inner processes.  We are well prepared to do so.  Our energetic configurations are developed for this.

We are prepared, whether we feel we are or not.  Even when we feel we’re groping in the dark, wiser aspects of ourselves are at work.  There is something we can trust more than our daily minds – we can trust the depth of who we really are.

We are fine tuned instruments of the change upon us.  And we are here partly for our determination and ability to move into change, even when it’s unsettling or scary.

Add to that the fact that Gaia is changing – and oh my, what a transition she’s going through!  In fact, it might be a transition/transformation/transmutation all in one.

I think, when it comes to Gaia’s current changes, it has to be the 5555 –  four 5’s – since 4 is an earth number.  And, as we know, what happens to Gaia happens for all life upon her.  That means us, too, of course.

There’s a certain comfort in knowing that in this period of change, Gaia has the lead.  We are in an important supporting role to her – conscious beings well-versed in transition, transformation and transmutation, having done them over and over again, lifetime after lifetime.  What skills we have gained for this!

Here’s to embracing change together.
May we transition with grace, transforming with creativity,
to transmute the very elements of human possibility and earth life.
That is my prayer.

Blessings be upon us,
X♥️Mayet Leilani

Look What Followed Me Home – A Grandmothers Drum!

October 10, 2024

Article highlights:

  • A special drum
  • and bowl
  • and news from the road

It was wonderful to be out on the road again, seeing friends, doing ceremony, meeting interesting strangers, logging some miles.  All went smoothly… even when I got caught in a huge windstorm with driving rain and hail on a dark lonely stretch of road with no pullouts or services!

It was a couple of tense hours of slow driving that included a bit of vehicular hydro-planing.  Luckily, I learned to drive in Alaska in all kinds of weather so, as I said, all went surprisingly smoothly.  And in the way of road trips, it was also great to get back home.  And look what followed me home!!

It’s the Grandmothers drum I mentioned.  Isn’t it a beauty?  I’m sharing ceremonial rights to it with my friend Greg Pruitt.  I call it a Grandmothers drum (plural) because there are certainly more than one Grandmother that comes through.

In fact I think I’d have to say it’s a Grandmothers and friends drum – the grandmothers seem to invite others along to the ceremony as they please.  It’s a pleasure and an honor to share the blessing of being kahu (Hawaiian for caretaker, guardian, protector) for this wonderful conduit of Spirit.

In addition, a unique bowl came back with me too, a metal one with a distinct sound.  When I first saw it, it identified itself to me as “Star Family.”  Since my own singing and chanting -as a Galactic Shaman – is always in conjunction with star beings, that caught my attention.

I’m also sharing kahu responsibilities with Greg for this beautiful bowl.  So far more than one person has said it’s a bowl “not created in this dimension.”  I’m not yet sure what that means, but I can say that so far working with it is deeply impactful, healing and elevating.  You can see the bowl behind the drum in the picture.  I’ll share a better picture of it in a later blog post, after I’ve worked with it longer.

It seems to identify as “we” and “they” – I guess that’s its pronoun, lol.  Perhaps the same could be said of the drum, 😉.  The bowl evokes ancient memory as well as communicating profoundly with the stardust we all carry in our bodies.  At the same time, though, it is soft and gentle and, like the drum, opens all to their own unique light-filled beauty.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to share time together around the drum and bowl?  May that be so one day.

Until then, may the blessings of drum and bowl resonate in your heart,

With love,
Mayet

Your Transition and the 555

October 3, 2024

  • The # 5
  • My little book of change
  • Change or Transmutation?

We’ve been ruminating a little about changes as I share some of what’s going on with me.  I’ll return soon to more about my work changes but I should add that I have an overall feeling of change, that there seems to be interesting inner transformations going on with me, as well as outer.  It’s going on at a group level for many of us, wouldn’t you say?

The number of change is 5 and if I had a favorite number (why choose?) I think it would be five. When I’ve said that to others, new age people have often groaned, “Change? Ugh!”  So it’s somewhat dreaded by many, apparently.

I guess because I’m more of a glass-half-full type of person, I assume change might be a positive thing.  And having an artistic nature, I trust shift and chaos and not-knowing – all parts of change – as part of a creative process.  I have a degree of comfort and even skill with it, I suppose.

That doesn’t mean it’s comfortable when it’s upon me, or that I always love it or feel no fear, not at all.  It feels how it feels depending on what’s happening.  But I do have a certain facility with the process.  Perhaps confidence in that develops over the course of one’s life, or so it seems to me.

It’s important to develop that skill, after all change is one of the few real constants in life.  If we don’t like the weather, it will change.  If it’s a difficult time, personally-speaking, it will change.  I guess the rub comes – the fear arises –  in knowing that if we like the weather, or our current life circumstance, life has taught us that these too might change.

Accepting that life = change doesn’t come easily to us, does it?  Spiritual resilience has a great deal to do with one’s ability to handle change or the need for change.  Spiritual maturity includes a certain acceptance of, and ability with, change.

I’ve been making a little book of change.  It’s an art book I’m crafting, not a book I’m writing for publication.  I thought today I’d share a simple formula I’m using in it.  It’s one Spirit gave me some years ago regarding change and the number 5.

5 = Transition
55 = Transformation
555 = Transmutation

Transition, a great word for change.  More accurate.

Transition, transformation and transmutation are three very important words to the spiritual sojourner.  Thinking of change in this way is very interesting to me.  Something fun for us to ponder together.

I’m in transition in my life… not sure what it all means.  I don’t feel everything about it can be named or even understood.  But it’s nice to talk about it and share what I can, and I feel lucky to be able to do that here with you.

Love, dear one, in these amazing times of transition,  transformation and transmutation.  Which do you think you’re going through?  (Hint: you can check all three boxes.)

💜 Mayet
