What Does Gaia Think?

August 22, 2024

Article highlights:
              • My thoughts on this picture
              • What are yours?
The illustration of the earth included today took me into a reverie that went like this:

That picture feels very evocative… what’s it saying to me?

I guess I feel it’s inviting me to look at the world differently than it’s perceived.  It suggests the world is something more than it appears… it’s not just a pretty rock in space… and one that’s in trouble.

And?
That image really shows Gaia as she is… she’s pure and clear and light-filled, just like me.

So?
So things really aren’t what they seem to be in the much ballyhooed and so called “terrible” world we live in.  So… we actually live in a world of light.

Thus?

Thus, that other view we have isn’t the truth of Gaia, it’s story-telling… and that storied world really only exists in my, in our, heads, determined by what we focus on, listen to and say.

Using our senses we create a world.

Thus, I can live in a media induced world in my head which has a reality based on the storytelling of others.

Or I can relate to Gaia as she really is,  a gorgeous Light-filled place, a Being in transition to a higher plane.

My frequency matches whichever world I decide to participate in most.  So I’m either a match for the world ”they” say it  is, or I’m a match with the wonder of Gaia’s transition.

Very interesting thought to me.

The world is either so breathtakingly amazing and beautiful or it’s a mess and in peril.  Which do you guess Gaia thinks she is?  There are interesting implications in this.  Something to consider.

That’s what the image said to me.  What do you see, feel, or think as you view the image?

Pondering and musing, as usual,
Mayet

Heart of Love Message: Which Side Is Right?

August 15, 2024

Article Highlights:
              • Which candidate (etc) is right?
              • Divide and conquer
              • Heart of Love guidance

Which side is right?  According to Spirit, that’s apparently not the question.  This dissension is nothing more than the old Divide and Conquer strategy.  It not only separates us from one another – something precious to lose – but it separates us from the mind of that which is God.  Something far too precious to relinquish.  Today I’m sharing a Heart of Love Message about that.

Three or four elections ago Wisdom gave me this guidance about politics and “sides” in general:

A Message From the Heart of Love
Which Side is Right?

“In your specific times, if one has chosen a side (politically) then one is automatically manipulated and therefore more at risk.  Because Divide and Conquer is the overall plan of those who wish to control earth’s outcome for their own non-inclusive agendas.

So do the best you can in deciding about each election or issue, but know that – as has always been the case – so called conspiracies abound on both sides.  No side has complete integrity in these times.  However, do not therefore throw up your hands in defeat, do your best to chose wisely and to support the fostering of what is good for the world.

But don’t get lost in the issues.  Or over-identified with sides.  Or join the hating and finger-pointing.  If you do, you will likely either become dragged down by despair or  become riled in a way that causes you to be a frequency match for “them.”

Know that, tho these are important times, they do not hinge on one election of any one country.  They hinge on you and your light.  It’s what you came for, not to become embroiled in political drama and strenuous divisiveness with those on “the other side” of any one issue.

Your clear and simple task is to do what you can about an issue BUT also add higher perspectives to your thinking, instead of the perspectives of the lower divisiveness.

Remember that, above all, your primary task is to hold steady.  To stay balanced in yourself at all costs, returning to balance again and again as necessary.  BE what is needed now… AN ANCHOR OF LIGHT.

This doesn’t include side-taking or faltering and wobbling with statements and questions based in fear.  It does NOT include participating in all the drama going on currently.  It doesn’t mean hoping for the worst, or fearing the worst.

What it means is BEING the light you actually are, that’s your simple, clear task.

You do not want to return to your spiritual home and see that while on earth you got caught up in the drama, forgetting what you came for.”

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Learning to be at peace with widely divergent opinions and even great injustice – while still doing what you can and being who you really are – that’s not for the faint hearted, is it?

Sending you blessings and hugs right now,
Much love,
Mayet Leilani

The Radiance Sutras: 112 Gateways of Wonder and Delight

August 8, 2024

Article highlights:
  • Something lost that found me
  • And amazing text

Around 1997-98 an acquaintance sent me a website link he thought I’d enjoy.  It was early days of the internet, remember, so I was taken to a very basic website, one we’d now consider rudimentary.  It was a lot of text and nothing more.

But oh the text!  It was amazing.  And for that period it became one of the most important contributors to my spiritual development, leaping me ahead in bounds.  What was it?

It was translations of sutras from an apparently famous Sanskrit text, one I’d never heard of.  They were transportive to me and I went to the website often for a year or more until one day the website was no longer maintained and functional.

Over all these ensuing years I’ve tried to find them again in some form.  But I couldn’t remember the Sanskrit name of the sutras, and an author wasn’t given on the website since the translations came from ancient texts.  So without enough information, I never did find them.

Until they found me again recently via my friend Anne.  When she told me about a book she was enjoying, I began to feel excitement that it might be those sutras.  I got the book and wasn’t disappointed.  It was indeed the material I’d seen so many years before.  I can’t wait to share one with you today!  But first, a bit more about this.

I learned that what I’d seen long ago was the 112 dharnas of Vijnana Bhairava – you see why I didn’t remember that?  They were an English translation by Lorin Roche and were originally published by him in 1993 under the title Subtle Bodies.  The website didn’t include the entire book, only his translation of the sutras.

The book I have now is that author’s material, retitled,  The Radiance Sutras  – 112 Gateways To The Yoga of Wonder & Delight, by Lorin Roche, PhD.   The Forward by Shiva Rea begins with the words: “In your hands, you hold a treasure,”  and I think that’s absolutely right… it’s a great treasure.

To me, they feel like love letters from God Within. Love letters – in a way – from myself to me, from the divine in me dancing with the Yin and Yang of my being, loving me into the divine I Am.  And I think this contemporary interpretation makes them transformative, even in English.

Each Sutra is very short but I find them truly amazing in their ability to transmute my moment from the mundane to that of divine consciousness.

Today’s was:

Elaborate rituals and garish images
May be useful in meditation when your mind is
    whirling with thought
Of sex, money, and power, wandering like an elephant
    in heat.
Go ahead and use these tools, yet know,
Beating drums and blaring trumpets
Cannot summon the One who is already present.

I am not a collection of incantations
    known only to experts.
I am not a ladder to be climbed,
Or a sequence for piercing energy centers in your body.
I am not to be found at the end of a long road.
I am right here.

It’s said that hearing them chanted in Sanskrit is a special experience, so I’m including a You Tube video of that.  The video is 44 minutes of beautiful Sanskrit chanting.  I’m having wonderful experiences with it.  It’s a blessing to listen to – whether for 5 mins or letting the entire length work it’s way into my being. Or simply having it on in the background of my day.

Enjoy!
With love,
Mayet Leilani
