Animated By Sound

January , 2026

In the Incan language the word for the human body is alpa camasca It literally means earth animated by sound.  To animate is to “make full of life or bring to life.”  Animated by what?  Our body is matter brought to life by the sound of the Cosmos.

We are matter animated by the sound of the Cosmos.

The Cosmos which mirrors The Eternal Word, Logos, the sound of that which is the original Creative Force.

We are matter animated by the sound of the Logos.

I can feel that vibrating in my bones.  In can hear it echoing through the chambers of my heart.  I can feel the resonance of that animation in every cell.

The Cosmic Logos is eternally sounding, always creating anew. I can feel its steadying force on my mind and body, creating well-being, soothing my fears, organizing my life more cohesively around me.

I am matter animated by the Eternal soundings of the Cosmic Creator.

I’m going to leave us with that resonant phrase.  We can mull it over, receiving and experiencing it anew.  There are AHAs in it, there is Wisdom in it, there is healing there.

Animatedly and with love,
❤️ Mayet

A New Light Source, Shedding New Light on Old Ways

January 15, 2026

Article highlights:

  • Truly — a better lightbulb
  • Celebrate what???

On January 1st, I gave the energy for us to access for 2026: Celebration.  In view of recent events in the news and other things recently occurring, how can “celebrate” possibly be right?  What can we possibly bring ourselves to cavort about?  That seems worth taking a look at.

However, before we go into that I’ve just remembered something I’ve wanted to share: a better light bulb.

I’ve been meaning to tell you about an innovation that’s made a lot of difference to my energy and stamina.  New Light!  A rather amazing woman named Linaya Hahn developed a new kind of lightbulb a number of years ago that is the truest full spectrum bulb available and has other wonderful innovations as well.  She received channeled information and help from spirit guides to create these bulbs that have important discernible difference for our health and well-being.

I’ve been using them for a number of years and finding the difference profound in many ways but recently something happened that reminded me how great they are and made me think to share this with you.

I’ve been dragging in the afternoons and tired earlier than usual, perhaps as winter decreased the sunlight.  I have a regular floor lamp where I sit to write and work and I remembered it no longer had a Sunshine full spectrum light in it.  I wondered if replacing it might help my fatigue.

Oh my goodness!  Yes it did.  In fact as I near bedtime I have to shift to another area where I have a different lamp because the Sunshine Light was keeping me active too late!

Also, I have a Rose Atta geranium that was struggling for lack of light.  So I put one of the Sunshine bulbs in the lamp near it to see if that helped and it perked up immediately and is thriving now.

There’s another plant on the same desk that didn’t necessarily need as much light.  And it was closer to the small window nearby.  BUT, it started growing toward the lamp with the Sunshine Light instead of the window!

I won’t go on about this further here, but I thought the information might be important for some of you.  Linaya’s business website has great info on the what and why of it.  If you’re interested you can go to SunShine Sciences, linked here

Now to answer the question “What is there to celebrate about, given how ugly the world seems at the moment?”  It’s an easy answer.  Celebration is an energy.  It is the energy that will carry the day through all this.  It’s the energy that will keep our lives on track given all the bucking ahead, especially in these next couple of transition years.

Do we have a party and celebrate every time some awful thing happens?  Of course not.  But we cultivate that energy and use it — as a tool —to help us through.  It will help us take the actions, lend our voice, steer the changes and bring what balance we can to difficult times.

The change we have looked for is happening AND this is what it looks like.  Times are extreme.  All of me, all of you, that’s what’s needed now.  Accessing the reality of celebration energy is an act of power.  And give us a very impactful tool.

Accessing — in us —  the relief and the victory it carries makes us more robust and better able to meet the reality of things presenting to change.  It’s that INNER energy that’s going to aid us to bring new light, to be and to make the changes needed in these very old ways of human being we are witnessing.

I hope that clarifies,
Sending hugs in the midst of it all,
And love,
💗 Mayet

What Gandhi Said: The Golden Rule of Harmony

January  7, 2026

I’m now posting pics weekly on Instagram.  If that interests you, click on the Instagram icon in my emails or at the bottom of my blog posts online.  If you’d like to follow me, I’m @Mma_HuLiLi on Instagram

Gandhi said, “The golden rule of conduct is mutual toleration.  Seeing that we will never all think alike, we shall always see Truth in fragments and from different points.”

The larger context of Gandhi’s point was that he was suggesting mutual toleration is not only necessary but is a key to getting along because it’s simply not possible we will all see things alike.  Which makes tolerance the golden rule of harmony.

Let’s ponder that a moment.  I think we might, as a majority, believe in, or want, the time to come when we all think alike and believe the same things.  Do you find that hope or longing within yourself?  Perhaps as an unseen belief, or even a need?  Does it help you feel safe, maybe?

I have to ask: “Is the assumption of shared belief folded into the idea of most spiritual beliefs, even new age belief?  I think the answer is yes.  It’s a pernicious idea: that ultimately everyone will or must or should come to see the rightness or wisdom of one particular way.  Maybe we even think that’s what Oneness looks like?  Hmmm?

For instance, try that out by asking: Do I find a kernel of this longing for shared belief in my approach to my own new age spirituality?  Hidden in the folds of how I carry my new age beliefs is there at least a smidgeon of the hope or belief — or maybe even certainty — that everyone will come to see the wisdom of New Age beliefs as most viable?

I’d say the answer is yes… I can find it lurking about in me.  I long for us to live in harmony and below the surface of that longing is the subtle assumption that it means we all are in agreement about beliefs.  And implicit in that idea of agreement is the idea that everyone therefore sees things the same way.

It makes sense to me such an assumption (or even insistence) is there because most of our spiritual beliefs are rooted in the programming of what I call “The Ole’ Time Religion”.  And foundational in The Ole’ Time Religions is the idea of only one right way. That was the program and it was bred in.  By now, it’s probably epigenetic, or akashic, part of what we are born into.

For generations and generations so many of our ancestors were programmed by this foundational thought about spiritual belief — there is only one right way.  To the point it has infiltrated our deepest longings.  It’s now part of what defines our ideal of society and influences our notions of nirvana or heaven: surely in the afterlife everyone else will see we were right, lol.  Or then at least there won’t be important differences.

The longing for a time when we all see things the same so we can at least get along, have harmony?  Yeah, that’s a fantasy.  Especially here at ground zero, in our daily living.  And I doubt the afterlife has that kind of homogeneity either.  There will not be only earthlings; have you thought about that?

There will be many differences.  The diversity of the universe is vast.  Sameness is not the key to harmonious living.  What is the key? Having the maturity to not judge or fear the differences but to embrace difference is the key to harmonious living.

I think this might be what Gandhi was in touch withIt is absolutely necessary to admit that we will never all see the truth of events and ideas in exactly the same way.  We will always see these from different points of perspective.  That’s a pretty mature — grown up — spiritual outlook it seems to me.  What do you think?

That’s what I’m musing on today,
And sending love,
💗 Mayet
