Even as a teenager, my younger son, Atz Lee, would ask me to come out and play. I remember a gorgeous sunny winter day when he wanted me to go outside to see something he was very excited about. I was pretty cozy and content by the fire but he was insistent, so out we went on his adventure. This involved laboring along in the lung searing cold, clouds of breath puffing around us as we hiked through the crunchy snow. We crossed the field in front of the house to the place where a frozen culvert had created an overflow of frozen ribbons and flowing layers in a variety of colors from the minerals in the water. It was great looking, artful, and I was glad I came. It turned out, though, there was more to come. (more…)

Clarity is Next to Godliness

I had to re-calibrate my printer today. When it ran it’s test sheet, it spit out a little image of a blurry parrot correcting to a clear parrot. It got me thinking… 😉

They say cleanliness is next to godliness but that’s always sounded less like God to me and more like a bunch of nuns with rulers ready to rap grimy knuckles. Perhaps it’s more accurate to say clarity is next to godliness. I think clarity is very compelling to the forces that bear sway in our lives. (more…)

Good Morning!

Before heading into the new frontiers of healing, I’d like to look at an area of healing in which we have made great strides.  It’s tough personal work that brings us to the doorway of new potentials in healing.  In this exploration, I invite you to reflect on how very far you have come.  Before entering a new era, it is good to understand what you have left behind and to claim the “golden fleece” you have earned as gifts and tools for quantum leaps to come.
