My Favorite AHA’s Happen When the Joke’s on Me
I have a pretty cool mini-course starting at the end of the month that has my best info on how to get your life to happen from your deepest soul intent rather than just your bright ideas and effort. If you want more info, scroll to the PS at the end.
Dear fellow traveler,
We all love AHAs, right? I especially love the ones that come at my own expense. This happened recently when I was traveling over Christmas holidays.
On my flight to the Seattle area I wasn’t aware of people who seemed to sniffle or cough or be noticeably sick. This makes sense because people would be more likely to stay home if feeling poorly rather than take a chance on making friends and relatives sick. I wondered at the time if that would be the case on the way back though.
I wondered if – after eating too much in general and sugar especially and having holiday tension as well as an up-tic in Covid apparently – would there be more sick travelers on the return flights home?
I was spared the answer to this on the first leg home – the one from Seattle to Dallas – because I got an unexpected upgrade to first class! No noticeably sick people there. Thank you travel gods!
The last leg of the flight, from Dallas to OKC, however was a whole different story – there were a LOT of sick people! And with face masks optional on flights now, not many of those hacking coughing spewers of germs were even wearing masks themselves. This surprised me. And annoyed a little. How inconsiderate.
In fact, the two people in the seats right next to me were among the sickest. And the man behind me was also very advanced in his wheezing and wet croupy cough. So I was surrounded. And feeling a little peevish about it.
Not major-grouchy-speak-my-mind peevishness but I had a touch of judgy annoyance and, yes, a little undercurrent of covid-trained concern for myself. Would i get sick, I wondered? So naturally I checked in with Wisdom to try to reassure myself about that. I was hoping for a “heck no of course not” sort of answer to set my mind at ease.
Instead, in response to my concern, Wisdom popped in with the suggestion that I raise my frequency. I naturally thot of this or that exercise I know that are very good for raising my frequency.
As I was deciding which to use, though, Wisdom butted in again with the equivalent of a throat clearing and raised eyebrow, “erhum… Not that way.” Of course I right away asked, “How, then?” To which I got the answer, “Feel compassion and send them love and healing, dear healer.”
Well that made me spontaneously sputter and laugh right out loud! It says everything about it all, doesn’t it? Judgment, irritation and concern = frequency; vs love, healing and compassion = frequency. Haha. The joke was certainly on me.
Right away I switched to compassion and started sending loving understanding and healing to My poor struggling travel companions. I felt a calm come over me as my frequency shifted up. It was a very good moment and in it was also the knowing that even if I did get sick all would be well in that too.
It was too good an AHA not to share with you, dear friends. Humble pie is soOoo yummy when eaten without resistance, hehehe.
With love,
~ ♥️Mayet
PS – I’ve been wanting to share – in a clear and organized way – some of the more important things I’ve learned over the years about living a guided life in a way that allows my life to fulfill from my highest soul intent rather than just my own bright ideas and efforting.
I’ve organized it as a mini-course around the idea of predicting your own life or being the oracle of your life as we go into 2023. It’s $44 and recordings are offered after the events.
