A Prayer and Invocation for the Earth

invocationDear Thanks-giver,
I thought I’d offer a prayer today, one you can share in ceremony or with others or at your Thanksgiving table if you like, if you’re in the United States.

Happy Thanksgiving to you in the U.S. and many thanks and blessings to those of you who aren’t. Every day is a good day for a grateful heart, isn’t it?

A Prayer and Invocation
for the Earth

May the Earth and all life upon her
be blessed 100-fold in loving gratitude
for service to Life and to that which is God
by the I Am presence awakened in us.

May all Life fulfill the intent of the Great Creator
May humanity achieve a new and higher rung
in its evolution as conscious beings of Light
taking their places as stewards and shepherds in form.

May the highest Light of Heaven pour forth as never before
upon every Kingdom of life on Gaia
that the great plan advance unhindered
and the dream of the Creator be fulfilled in time and space.

May Cooperation, Harmony and Peace be restored
May Fullness and Joy fill the hearts of many once again
May the purest wisdom of the Great Masters through time
blossom and ripen in the minds and actions of humankind
May darkness roll back and Light bear sway
As intended in our times.

This is our Prayer
Amama Ua Noa
Amama Ua Noa

What I seek Finds Me

Dear Finder,

you move the cheeseIn the early years of my 12-year WalkAbout, Wisdom said something to me that became a useful mantra for times when I’m feeling lack, fear of not having enough.

“ What you seek finds you.”

I remember thinking that would make a great T-shirt. It became my go-to reassurance whenever I had that grasping feeling… the fear that what I wanted wouldn’t or couldn’t happen.

That’s the same fear that makes us think we have to work really hard for everything or do the work all by ourselves, right? It’s the same fear that causes weird little niggles of uncertainty and even jealousy when faced with another’s good fortune – when we secretly doubt that our own good fortune will find us.

It’s also the feeling that we aren’t good enough, that we have too many faults and unresolved issues to reap the blessing and rewards that are ours, including what we call enlightenment.

When these feelings and doubts creep in, I’ve found it so useful to say aloud:

“ What is mine finds me.”

When I say that affirmatively, something in me – something that’s always waiting for own my calm certainty – settles right down, replaced by my trust in my life.

Not long after Wisdom gave me that little nugget, I was in an office supply store in New York City. Near the check-out counter was a display of business books and one caught my eye that was popular at that time. It’s called, Who Stole the Cheese?

The title connected creatively in my mind to the saying, What is mine, finds me. It gave me an idea that I went home and drew on my iPad. It tickled me and I shared it with you in an article that I think was called Mouse and Cheese.

Some of you long-time readers of my Musings may remember when I used to share new Mouse and Cheese drawings from time to time. Now you know how that got started. The simple cartoon drawing I’ve used today for this article is that first drawing.

Funnily enough, though, I just realized I haven’t shared the phrase I received from Wisdom that preceded it. What is yours finds you. It’s such a great phrase, very useful. I thought you might enjoy it today, and the story.

It applies to everything, not only our wishes and desires of course. But to all that we seek on the spiritual path as well. Including our own Self-Realization. All that we long for is already begin sent to us as blessings of Fullness, continuously ever moment of every day of our lives. Open to this fully and you will see: What Is Yours Finds You.

You might like to spend a little time before you rise from bed just feeling that Fullness pouring into your life. Then, say aloud,” What is mine finds me.” Connect briefly like this each morning and watch how that transforms your day over time.

Much love,

~ X💜Mayet

Prayer for Gaia – Working with the Element of Earth

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

prayer for gaiaYou may recall my article in August in which I shared the art/chant/energy work I did with the element of fire during the fires on Maui. I shared an altar card I painted and the chant/prayer that I made during that work. And I told you that my Peace plant had suddenly started to bloom. Amazingly, 8 weeks later it is still blooming.

There have been earthquakes and other challenges since then and so I’ve worked again with art/chant/prayer on behalf of the Earth, our dear Gaia, and all life upon her, including our own.

The photo today is the standing card I made for my altar and below is the prayer I wrote and recorded to use as a chant, repeating it many times on behalf of Gaia’s movement, growth and transitions. I put it inside the altar card too.

I thought you might like to join me in this work, using the prayer, working with it in your own way,
With love,

~ 💙 Mayet Leilani

May the Elements of Earth

May the Elements of Earth be showered with blessings
by the praises we lift in gratitude,
our voices ringing with the wonder of being alive.

May our joy in life increase, lending stability to Gaia
in support of her labor, birthing new life
and new dimensions of living upon her.

May All the Elements of Earth’s Creation
respond to the mastery of our Souls
as we now give the Soul permission
to come forward within us
taking primary residence in awakened form
to walk in beauty and blessing on Earth,
an awakened humanity on Terra once more.

This is my prayer
Amama ua noa
Amama ua noa
Amama ua noa
(This prayer is now released into the world)
