Today’s message is super simple:
Keep it simple.
We often do best when we keep it simple. Today might be a day for that, even if you have a complicated day ahead. In fact, within complexity the simplicity factor becomes even more important. When things are snarled and complicated, “simplify” is often the sign over the exit door.
As well, when things are really hard, simple is often the most we can manage. If things are hard for you right now, this is permission to be gentle with yourself and simplify what you can.
Whether hard, normal, or complicated, here’s an invitation for today: give yourself permission to simplify at least one thing. Or to simplify it all. What will that look like for you?
For me, I’m going to cut my projects list in half and add more fun into today. And I’m going to allow a weekend that’s awesomely simple from beginning to end. And I’m especially going to let myself be simple-minded.
Simplicity is a form of luxury. Here’s to luxuriating in it.
Lots of love to you,
