2023 – A Prediction, a Resolution and a Prayer

Dear Decider,

I’ve read various briefings and prediction regarding 2023 from different sources – channels, astrologers, psychics.  They’re interesting. But.

They can only go so far. Why? We are the deciders of what comes next – especially as a group.  I’m not going to belabor this because I’ve written about it before.  As we enter January 2023, I just want to say that it’s “rubber-hits-the-road” time on this.

It’s time for you to decide what’s to come.  It’s time for me to decide what’s ahead.  It’s time for us to decide – our world needs us to step into this role.

We may not be the controllers, but we are the deciders and that counts for more than we’ve ever let it.  If we don’t decide, who will? The lowest common denominator will prevail. That will be the worriers, the nay-sayers, the indecisive, the uncertain, the power grabbers.

That’s the people who’ve already decided financial chaos is probably coming, that Covid will likely return worse than ever, that people are hopelessly divided and also it’s way too late for the environment.

I’ve heard people say these things and, frankly, it’s rather shocking to me. Why put that forward as your certainty, I wonder? It is not a certainty, that’s for sure.  So why we be saying that to each other?

Woe, woe, woe is we. That’s what we are saying.  Who says that?  Victims, people who haven’t recognized their own power, that’s who; And that’s not you.  Or me.  That’s not we.  We know better and it is time to walk that talk.

Let’s decide what our world can be 
and let’s hold to that vision fiercely, tenaciously, with certainty, 
unwilling to settle for less or say anything else.
That is an act of power that is profound.
We know this. Let’s put it into action.

That’s my resolution. And here’s my prediction for 2023: May humanity – and the world it’s conceives of and co-creates – envision a new and elevated way of being human and living together in this beautiful earthly paradise.  And may I do my part.  That is my prayer.
