A Message From the Heart of Love – The Fountainhead of Fullness

You know from earlier things I’ve said that during the pause we’ve called Covid, my focus has been on writing a book. That process has recently completed and the book is soon moving on to the next phases of cover design, layout, printing and so forth. The book is about my discovery and journey into the Light that we each carry in us. In the book, my sharing of this is always relative to the process going on in you – it’s about your movement into that as well.

I’ll tell you more about the book soon, but for today’s blog, it seemed time for another Heart of Love Message. Each chapter of my book ends with a heart of love message so I decided I’d enjoy sharing one of the H of L messages from my book, the last one.

Prior to what I share below, I’m briefly explaining the origin of these messages before giving the final one for the book. It’s not really a spoiler at all for me to share the ending of the book with you since, like the end of each chapter, the ending is simply a short message from the heart of Love that speaks to the content of the chapter or book. Poetry Month With My Family, April 2021 – A Haiku a Day

haikuDear secret haiku writer,

April is national poetry month. Since 2010, I’ve been inviting a friend or two, or more, to write a poem a day in April of each year. The only dictate we’ve had – and somewhat loosely kept – is that the poem doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be contributed.

Whether tongue-in-cheek, unfinished, nonsense rhyme, uninspired or brilliant… any and all are welcome and it’s the effort that is valued. Though you get admired when you’re good, it’s sometimes the lessor efforts that get you to that.

It’s surprising, in fact, how many times an inspired poem comes as a result of simply making the effort consistently. Most years, my oldest son has participated, with rest of the group being different friends each year. I limit the group to 5 or six people; sometimes it’s been 2 or 3, and twice I decided to just do it solo, writing for specific personal reasons. (more…)
