I was caring for a young and beautiful blonde woman who looked very much like me. Noticing this, I had a realization of being my Higher Self, caring for she who is my earthly self. While I cared for her, the tending became helping her thru her life which was filled with many obstacles. (more…)

Dear Flow-meister,

Whether we realize it or not, each human being is a master of flow, as are all elements and creatures of the world. This is easily observed in the movement of birds, the rippling of a brook, the movement of a migrating herd, the life of trees. And in our own lives.

Flow is the rhythm of life at its most open and free. Flow is the natural state of all things. Flow R Us, we could say – it’s that built in.

In fact, it takes quite a bit of energy to stop flow because it’s the primary state of things. We might wonder why we’d even want to. And yet we do block it, quite often, not realizing the 2-fold strain that occurs in trying to stop flow. Flow-stopping not only creates a lot of stress that has consequences to health, it’s also like a leak in our energy body, slowing draining our vitality and reducing our energetic resources. (more…)

I came across this card I made with a doodle and poem-ette of mine. You see the date, 2014, when my initials were still LjC. It reminded me of something I wanted to tell you about my new name. It’s migrating a little.

Some of you might remember that I was given a new name in a dream three years ago. A somewhat unlikely one, that seemed perhaps a tad awkward. The full name I was given is Mayet MaHulili Leilani but my guidance for a long time was to go by Ma Hulili, which social media combined to MaHulili.

I think I was guided to use that part of my name to get comfortable with having Ma – a traditional eastern spiritual title often used in the name of women gurus – as part of my name. It was about integrating the divine feminine energy, something we are all doing. It did take me a while but I persevered gamely, as did all my friends and many of you, my readers. I was rewarded with a new softness and a level of feminine energy and wisdom that is a real gift.

However. Hehehe. Now that’s accomplished, it seems things are probably changing re: what part of my name to use. While working on my book, I naturally pondered what name to use. I’ve been guided to use the whole name: Mayet MaHulili Leilani, on the book cover. (more…)
