Dear Storyteller,

As life goes along, people sometimes say just the right wise and timely thing that makes a lot of impact in your life.  I like to collect those moments, I call them Everyday Wisdom.  Do you have a favorite wisdom story?  Here are three mini-stories that I learned sOoo much from.

Alaska was a state full of younger adults seeking adventure and opportunity when I was growing up in the last frontier.  It was a wonderful childhood. but in my thirties I realized that I’d known very few people in their 70s-90s.  I felt I’d probably missed out on a lot of shared wisdom and rich experience so I decided, just for fun, to start a personal project that continues to this day. Dear Valentine, 

You have read and contemplated much that is wonderful regarding Love with a capitol L. Now let it be said in the simplest of ways: There is nothing else. 

Love is All. All is Love. 

Many in the world might say this is a ludicrous expression. For the practitioner of Love, this is a Love Koan, with the potential to spark enlightenment. You must dive deep to understand this simple saying, what it means, how it can be… to truly know it in your being. You must dive into the core of the universe, into the very heart of Love, to know this truth and glean its wisdom to the fullest.

In the world, it creates important conundrums and contradictions to resolve, it presents puzzles to unravel, important questions to answer. This is timely for humans now, wouldn’t you say?  That means it is timely for you. You are meant to solve this great riddle, dear pioneer on the human’s path to Love. 

There is no more time for acting unconsciously, outside of this Love. The time for that grand adventure into separation and unconsciousness is finished. In truth, it is passed.  

All are now on the path of understanding Love. Some, such as yourself, will embrace this and move quickly forward, others will be reluctant, even resisting. No matter – it is the same path, regardless how slow or fast, how reluctant or willing.  You see, in the longer view, Love is the only path there is and all are now upon it.  (more…)
