Do you meditate? I do. Are you having more trouble meditating than you used to? Me too. There are several reasons for this, first, when life grows chaotic or worrisome mental focus becomes more challenging. There are energetic or esoteric reasons for this as well but I won’t go into them right now, perhaps in a later blog.

I’ll just briefly say that energetically things are very challenging right now. Between the world’s turmoil and the powerful and wonderful frequency changes that are occurring, you might have more trouble meditating. For now let’s concern ourselves less with why and more with what to do about it.

The times when it’s harder for you to meditate are generally the times when meditation is very much needed. When things are challenging for you, you’ll have more stress, brain fog, physical symptoms, anxiety, etc. Sound familiar? (more…)

Secrets of Enlightenment – The Power of AUM/OM

In English we tend to use the brief form, OM, of the Sanskrit mantra AUM. In fact there is no word or symbol “OM” and using it in this way loses much of the truth and power AUM conveys.

AUM is a mystical Sanskrit sound, a sacred sound and mantra and a spiritual symbol. It’s a visual and vocal vibration that conveys the essence of the ultimate reality, consciousness or Atma (Soul, or Self within.)

AUM is the symbol and sound used in Sanskrit and Hindi. Muslims use Amin, Christians, Amen. Some Tibetan chants use Hum, giving the ‘ah’ sound a breathier beginning. It is said by some that Sanskrit contains the purest form and esoteric knowledge of the ancient sound.

To know the true secret of AUM is to finally realize who you truly are. AUM denotes the cosmic power behind all creating, the vibration by which God makes manifest. AUM signifies the eternal that enlivens all things. Using AUM as a chant or mantra calls this power forward in you, magnifying it. (more…)
